A tax is a tax, and the term is black and white in the Bill. The State must assume its responsibilities and stop to say anything.

It is a small week! The progression of these chronic diseases associated with aging also weighs on mutual. We support a range of ancillary problems not covered by the regime of diseases of long duration. Not to mention the package of 18 euros for the heavy acts or hospital packages.

The tax will be renewed at this level each year

We ask that it is not renewed. The Government is warned: If this tax is sustained, it will weigh on the purchasing power of households. Because mutual will be obliged to compensate this levy under contributions. In 2009 already, if some of them can afford to not pass the levy, others will be forced to take account, in whole or in part.

Health insurance companies, your competitors, you accuse of having negotiated recovery of the tax with the Government in exchange for an increased role for mutuality in the management of health insurance...

This is totally wrong. I don't have nothing negotiated such. I have always been against this tax, imposed on us by the Government in July. It is only in a second time that the Elysee had proposed us a protocol agreement involving all of the additional expenditure management. And we signed it because we think that this should be positive for our fellow citizens.

The Government maintains its commitments

The Bill for social security for 2009 funding introduces the systematic association of complementary grouped in the Unocam in the negotiation of agreements with health care professionals. The signing of the Unocam will be even mandatory in areas such as optics and dentistry, where the additional repayments are the majority. It is common sense. There is no breach in the unit of mutuality. The decision was made unanimously the Office of our Federation: I was not going to take it alone! As I do every year, I completed a tour of France where I met mutualistic leaders 4,000. Position taking will not affect the cohesion of the movement. But it deserved an explanation.

Do you think, as the insurers, that a re-Foundation is necessary for the Unocam

The Unocam was created to our initiative there is a tendency to forget to put the table of health insurance, complementary and health professionals. It was not made to discuss with the Government of the major axes of the health care system. Each family kept its sovereignty on it.
